Milk and Grocery Delivery: Town End Dairy delivers a large choice of groceries and dairy products. The current price list is attached. Please call them for delivery and if you order a regular milk supply, please leave the money at the foot of the stone steps.

Stove/fireplace: If the fire is being used, please ensure that the ashes are emptied daily into the metal bucket in the vestibule. When this is full, please transfer the ashes to the dustbin in the coal house at the bottom of the stone steps. This bin is to be used exclusively for the ashes, and no other purpose please. The bins in the dust bin house (the next green door along) are for general household waste. Please do not put hot ashes in these bins.

If you run out of hot water, switch the water heater boost on for a short time. The multifuel stove also heats water whenevr you use it.

Oak Apple Barn is not supplied with mains water. Owing to the nature of our private supply, we would welcome your co-operation in using the water sparingly and with consideration in order that this facility is preserved for the guests who follow you. If you wish to drink the water, we recommend that you boil it first.

Please do not allow your wet or dirty dogs into the property. Please leave them in the vestibule until they are dry and clean.

Please would you leave the property as you found it on your arrival. We would ask you to check out promptly by 10.00 am on the day of your departure, so that Oak Apple Barn can be cleaned for our next guests.
